The Clouds were a band based in Sydney Australia. They released 4 albums - Penny Century, Octopus, Thunderhead, and Futura - and a
wealth of EPs. They have 2 CD compilations available, Collage and Favourites. Band members included Jodi Phillis, Trish Young, David Easton,
Stuart Eadie, Raph Whittingham, and David Nightengale. Jodi & Trish were the group's primary songwriters and brought a unique blend of
power and melodicism to their unusually structured songs. Comparable groups to the Clouds include the Pixies and Veruca Salt.
The group formed in 1989 and disbanded in 1997. In 2005, Jodi & Trish joined forces in a new combo called The Girls From The Clouds.
