All I could see was that his front leg wasn't working. I assumed it was the beginning of the end, and in order to make sure to keep up his ailing strength, I elevated his food and water as he had trouble bending over. It was a full five minutes before I realised I AM AN IDIOT and his leg was stuck in his collar. Panic averted!
