Winter Already?
Goddamn! It's cold! (Not, obviously, compared to Siberia or somewhere like that, but compared to last Sunday...yike!)
Current Temperature: 14 C

Thus my feet....and today's retail necessity - a new scarf.

(Yes - I'm still having mega-fun with my new camera! Can you tell?)
This page disappeared today for a while - I think it just took a small breather from the world at large. And thus I envy it. I, meanwhile, got to work, logged into my computer and had a reminder ping up on to the screen. (Ah, how well I know myself!) It told me that I had thirty minutes to get to a forum on 'Evidence based public policy in the UK and it's relevance to Victoria'. How thrilling! I could hardly bear the excitement. So I departed (rather quickly), got dumped on by torrents of rain (of course have not left office other than at lunchtime for days and days, and it has remained dry...such is the law of Sod) and made it to the lecture theatre at St Vincent's Hospital, wondering vaguely if I suddenly looked startlingly thinner due to being drenched (it works for my cats).
After almost falling asleep and drowning in my own drool for about two hours we were ushered out and given free tea and raspberry muffins. And there was I thinking that it was all a waste of time. I stand corrected. Raspberry muffins make almost everything OK.
House Update:- if you can't bear anymore of my Real Estate Greek Opera do not continue to read from here on in.
As I am still waiting for everything to find the more hidden object games

a heap again, I refuse to have any excitement. Nevertheless. The owner signed the contracts yesterday and all is about to go into motion once more. I have now reached the same point I was at last time, except that the valuation is done. That is good. What is not good is that I still have to get a letter from my boss. *sigh* I am hoping my bank-lady will 'forget' that she asked me for it in the same helpful way that she forgot to get my tax assessment statement from me. I think I hope in vain - but my paws are crossed. The other thing is that on the house webpage it has 'under offer/under contract' on it. And now that the contract is signed, no one can GAZUMP me.!
Here is a page I find tres amusing - Lisa found it.
