Actually now that baby is a Heavyweight toddler Mr is better than me at taking her over the road for milk etc. He just hefts her up when she starts causing trouble, and carries her all the way home.
So the muscles win out in the end.

@ seepi - I am so with you on that (although saying so will infuriate M) - but the dinner thing especially - that’s like asking him to pat his head and rub his tummy… I keep saying “The sling! The sling!! Cook/Clean/Wash up with The SLING.”

It is a law of physics or soemthing. When men mind the baby they just ‘mind the baby’.

For ages hubby would become quite demanding if he held the baby - snapping his fingers for me to get him stuff like drinks and cloths.

He’s improved a fair bit. But still can’t mind her and cook dinner.

I started mine cos he told me too. “if you start now before your kid comes, then you will in the swing of it”
