Streets of Your Town…

M and I went to Daylesford on Saturday to see the Go-Betweens play at The Palais. God! It was fan-tastic! I will be posting a review up here in a day or two. I wish there was a rule that Grant McLennan stayed behind his guitar at all times, because his guitarless posturing throughout Cattle & Cane (which I’d been waiting for all my life) made it impossible to watch. Other than that, it was brilliant.

So does that mean we should go to the Lismore gig?

You should SO go. Just look at the floor during ‘Cattle and Cane’. Mung paid over $40 for his ticket to the show at the Forum (which was apparently nowhere near full), but the Palais tix were about $33. Can’t seen them trying to extort charge more than that in Lismore. For god’s sake - you’re still recovering from the great flood of 2005!
