I wrote previously about subverting the system (read: ‘firewall’) at my workplace to gain access to gmail. They got wise. It no longer works. I have been wasting precious time trying to figure out how to one up them, and so far have come up with one viable option - GMail-Lite.

You can also get your Gmail via RSS so you can check it, but not reply, in an online aggregator such as Bloglines - if they haven’t blocked that.

I will keep playing around. I could, of course, forward my gmail to any of my email addresses - I have my iprimus and miaow accounts set up in Outlook Express here and nobody gives a toss - in trying to access the gmail site, I am just trying to win against the system. pathetic, I know…
