Mo Mo Mope

So paint me grey and call me Eeyore. Someone just bought my house. Not only that, they actually have all the cash themselves and so don’t need to have diverting times with whacked out valuers. I am trying to assume that this is for the best and that an even better place will come along. Yeah right. Magic happens. Blah. Why would someone with $110k in cash want to buy a dump to do up? My woe is great. I look woebegone. I have never actually managed to use that word in a sentence, but I think the time is ripe for woebegone. My horoscope keeps telling me that this is all for the best - but I swear if something good doesn’t happen soon I am going to hunt down Jonathan Cainer and do his aura some serious damage. Looks like I’ll be in Melbourne for a while longer.

Try not to get gloomy. With the Moon in aspect to both Pluto and Saturn, you will be pushed into your depths. Just reassure yourself that you’re finding things you never knew before. So what comes out of this testing time will, in the long term, be tremendously helpful. Avoid tricky situations, since you’ll end up feeling a touch frustrated or blocked.

OMIGOD, I just added a comment on the post re the house - for some reason the most recent entry that I got was not your most recent entry! Oh, it’s terrible Beth, how disappointing… But in times of doubt I always remind myself of those immortal words from that Kevin Costner film Field of Dreams:
“If you build it, they will come”!!!

Marie,
Because I like you I will let you live. Normally, anyone who quoted Kevin ‘that sad bastard’ Costner at me in my time of crisis would be instantly annihilated…but you have a blind and valium dependant cat who needs you. I will let you live.
;oP

“Is this Heaven?”
“Nope. It’s Iowa.”

Second line spoken by the very Sad Bastard himself; while you better watch your step in knocking him for that quite fine film, you can instead take a shot at him for me, resident I-Oh-Wahn inmate, for uttering such a misleading and barefaced untruth of scandalous proportions. (Actually, I never have been able to figure out if that line was indeed open praise or a cheekily veiled slam!!) They shot that movie RIGHT HERE btw, in Dyersville not that far away. The property owner has maintained the Field for tourists after all these years, and yes - it still IS in the middle of a cornfield!

As Macbeth sayeth, “Come what come may, time and the hour runs through the roughest day.”

And that goes for the woedge-bone ones too ;)

Look, believe me, I despise, destest & think K.C. is undeniably worlds worst actor…. but I can’t help it - I really like that little saying… Sorry…. My only consolation is that he didn’t write it!!!!!
I didn’t know the field was kept as a tourist destination - it’s so kitch I have to go!!!!!!
